The market

What makes Southern Utah different

Washington County has been one of the fastest-growing counties in the country for a decade. That means a steady stream of new homeowners who have no plumber, no electrician, and no HVAC company yet, and who find one the same way everyone does now: they type the problem into Google on their phone and call whoever shows up in the map pack with good reviews and "Open now."

It also means a lot of builder-grade equipment coming off warranty at the same time, a water supply that runs very hard, summers that push air conditioners past their limit from June through September, and neighborhoods full of retirees who want a licensed, insured, polite trade and will leave a review when they get one.

Against that, the competition is a handful of franchise call centers with big ad budgets and a few hundred one-truck shops with no website, a Google listing with four reviews, and a voicemail box that fills up in July.

The opportunity

A one-truck shop can win the map pack here

Google decides the map pack mostly on distance, reviews, and how complete and active the listing looks. A franchise with 1,200 reviews and an office in St. George does not outrank a Hurricane plumber in Hurricane if the Hurricane plumber has forty recent reviews, real photos, and true hours. Distance is the one thing the franchise cannot buy.

That is the plan: own your own town first. Then the next town over. Then the service pages that bring in the bigger jobs. It takes a couple of months, not a couple of years, and we have never seen a trade here do it without a system for asking for reviews, which is why the review request is built in.

What we do

Website, listing, automations, for one fee

A phone-first website with a page for every service and every town you drive to. Built for a homeowner holding a phone with a problem.

Google Business Profile set up correctly, with weekly replies, posts, and photos, and watched for the suspensions that take local listings out of the pack.

Directory listings on Apple Maps, Yelp, Bing, and Nextdoor, all matching your listing exactly.

Missed-call text-back on your business number, so the caller hears from you in seconds even when you cannot pick up.

Instant form-lead alerts to your phone, with the lead saved in a pipeline.

Review requests after every job, sent when you mark the job done, with your Google link.

$499 a month, nothing until launch, no contract, and the first 90 days are refundable. See the pricing details.

Towns

Where we work

Our office is in Washington, UT. We work with trades across Washington County: St. George, Washington City, Hurricane, La Verkin, Toquerville, Leeds, Santa Clara, Ivins, Dammeron Valley, and Springdale. We also take clients in Cedar City and Iron County, and in Mesquite, Nevada.

Everything is set up remotely as well, so if you are a trade anywhere else in Utah or the US, the same package works. The local advantage is that we can meet, we know the towns, and we write the town pages from having been there.

Questions

Questions from Southern Utah trades

Do you work with HVAC, plumbing, and electrical only?

Those are the three we have the most experience with, and each has its own page: HVAC, plumbing, electrical. We also work with garage door, pest control, roofing, landscaping, pool service, and handyman businesses. If people call you to fix something at their house, it fits.

Is $499 a month a lot for a one-truck shop?

It is two service calls. Compare it to what the lead-marketplace sites charge per lead, shared with three other contractors, or to one month of Google Ads. And nothing is billed until the site is live, with the first three months refundable if it is not working.

Can you help with a listing that got suspended?

Yes. Suspensions are common on Southern Utah trade listings because of service areas set too wide or home addresses on the listing. We fix the cause and file the reinstatement. See Google Business Profile management.

What if I am slammed and do not have time for this?

That is the point. The intake call is 45 minutes, you review a draft, and you test the launch. Everything else is done for you. The automations are there precisely because you are under a sink when the phone rings.

How long until it is live?

As soon as one week after the intake call. You see a homepage draft within 48 hours, we build and you review, then we launch and test it together, in person if you are in Washington County. Map listing results usually take four to eight weeks after launch.
